GPU is what handles most of the render work. Bumping up to a GTX 10-series or 16-series would be hugely beneficial. Also, bumping up to 16GB of RAM would help a lot too.
16GB DDR3-1600 is available on newegg for $43.

Good luck finding a decent price for a 1660 video card, but newegg has those too for $434.

Not sure if you have an SSD, but those are relatively inexpensive. Doesn't help with render times, but will help with model load & save times
1TBs go for around $100

This may be just a issue I have, but I just figered this out after spending 2 weeks trying to get my pc to finish a decint render with scenery. the setting for how many seconds defaults to 7200 seconds. this is 2hours if you do the math. I saw a video were the peson said this was 10 hours so this bug took me a longer to descover then it could have. but if daz hits you min passes, or min % of covrage to canvas it will stop and kick up the save file interface..... however, my daz will not stop at 2 hours. It WILL stop macking new passses but will not closk the inteface or bring up the save dialog while also continuing to count how long its been working even thow it stopped working a long time ago. So many crappy 10 hour+ render that look like poop because they acculy stoppped at 2 hours. I did not relize this untill it accured to me that I get about 300 passes an hour on a large scene, but always seem to have 600-700 passes when I canle 10 hours latter. I do not know it this is an issue for everyone, but on a low end rig you need the time. MY last render, first after realizing this and upping my time ended at 1500 passes with denoizing starting at 1400 passes and looks amazing.
Do spot renders where you are trying to make adjustments instead of full renders. Once you get that you like then do a full scene render. That GPU from the looks of it only has 2 GB of VRAM so it isn't going to be utilized for rendering in Iray, which needs at minimum 4 GB but 8 GB VRAM is recommended and the card to be a RTX 2060 at least. Are you on a PC or a Mac? How heavy of a scene are you trying to render? You defenitly should consider increasing your GPU and your system RAM
