hi i noticed another update to 4.16 is available can someone help me

The general release or the Public Build (beta)? The former should be ok, but a few people have had issues with content (they have not reported back when asked for details so it's not clear if it's related to the database or directory set up) so I would make a note of your content diectories, and export you userdata just to be on the safe side (Content Library option menu, the lined button in the top corner of right-click the tab, select Content DB Maintenance, and check Export Userdata). The Public Build has a new version of Iray that makes siginificant, and not entirely helpful for existing content, changes to the way soem elemnts behave (affecting thin film and ghost lights) so if that is the version in which you render you migth want to make sure you back up the installers from the previous vrrsion, and its plug-ins, first.

Assuming you haven't already downloaded they will be in the DIM Downloads folder - Daz Central doesn't keep the zips so if you use that there is nothing to back up.
