I have been using Daz3d for a very short time, 2 weeks, and since then it is impossible for me to load a garment, a pose, hair on my character, nothing, it is marked:

"An error occurend while reading the file see the log file for more details"

except that I have not seen this file anywhere, it is impossible for me to find it, and it completely restricts my actions

Help -> Troubleshooting -> View Log File.

This often hapens if you are trying to load some kind of preset (for pose or materials, say) without the model it is to be used on loaded and selected in the scene.
