I was wondering when someone would start a thread about her. I think she looks great, and grabbed the mega bundle. I see Joe Quick finally made a proper Splinter, too.
Where to find the Nutcracker from Timeless Ballet Poses and Expressions for Genesis 8 and 8.1 in the Mega Bundle?

I'm on the fence, nothing particularly interesting about the character and I don't know if I'll ever need ballet stuff. I do like the rat stuff and the opera. As for the fantasty items... nothing left there that I'm too excited about.
What I don't get is why is the Metamixer add-on part of the mega bundle? Isn't that already part of the Hd Add-On? Would have been nice to have one of the other add-ons that are not included, not something completely worthless.
Compared to the other mega bundles, it's also very light (12 items not including the worthless mmixer).
I bought a 'Clara Ballerina Outfit' last week. It looks a bit rubbish compared to that one though, but I'm not buying another one.
I was thinking the same thing - kinda surprised to find it NOT in any of the bundles, nor available as a stand-alone item. It is a very nice nutcracker figure - would like to get ahold of that one myself.

I'm waiting for the male nutcracker who is in the pose set. It may just be the mask and jointed hands, but they look very good indeed.
It's not bad package. Frankly, I don't think any of it is a patch on Littlefox's V4 balerina series (which was extensive and fabulous) but I'm not enthused aboutthe idea of trying to port V4 clothing (and shoes!) up to G8.
The Mouse King is greaat.
She's a nice character - more life-like than Mei Lin 8, although I think she's a step down from Kayo 8 in that regard.
Lord knows I don't need more Asian ladies in my library so I probably won't get her...
I'm looking forward to seeing renders of her in other contexts, "ballet princess" is an aesthetic that I have zero interest in.
I am just interested in the nutcracker figure. It's so sad that it is not included in the bundles

The Opera House looks great!
Speaking as someone who's been doing ballet for quite a while and enthusiastically earlier in life, the bundle is real pretty but not very well made on the ballet side of things. There's so much better poses in the store already - 3Dsugar comes to mind - and lots of better tutus exist, here and elsewhere. The short tutu's layers don't look anything like tulle to me, and the long tutu is not a tutu at all, just a mid-length flowy dress. The character is really nice and also pretty and I might get her at some point, but she's got no classical ballet body at all. The hair is truly beautiful but not balletic as well, as all the long flowy bits would be whipping in the dancer's eyes at quick turns. So to me, the bundle was kind of a let down really when I started looking at it closely, which is sad because I was soooo excited at first. On the other hand, if you don't care too much about realistic ballet scenes, it might be just fine for you, it's very pretty, like I said.
Does anyone know yet whether there's any kind of interior to the opera house, and how well the buildings' textures are holding up in close-up? I'd really love to get the opera, that looks just amazing to me!
Someone at DAZ might want to remove the promo image of the mouse king from the Clara 8.1 page though :)
There may, of course, be other bundles under the tree too.
Oh that'd be cool, I'd love to have that nutcracker outfit / figure also! - Also just realized that one pose set actually IS by 3Dsugar, kind of confusing because I liked their other work so much. Maybe they' re just not too good at couple poses, might be.

I have both of them. And all the PAs' stores are on sale at 40%, 50% if you buy a new item.
I have bought a lot of the ballet items here. My grandmother took me to see the Nutcracker in Los Angeles when I was a little girl in the 1950s. I was entranced. So while I may not be able to dance, or even exercise to music (ha!), I still love to look at the magic that is evoked on the stages around the world by artists who work so hard to bring dreams alive.
As to Clara 8.1, I see her as more of Russian-Asian ethnic mix. Which I think is all to the good for expanding the gene pool.

I also had a similar question about the inclusion of the MetaMixer add-on in the Mega Bundle. Don't you instantly get the MetaMixer add-on when you buy the HD one or was that a one-off when MetaMixer was released?
I just wanted to say that the Metamixer HD addon widget only adds the fine HD details to the metamixer tool. To actually get the full head shape in the metamixer tool you need the Metamixer add-on. It wasn't very clear when metamixer was introduced but following the metamixer threads its been clarified that the HD add-ons don't include the full head shape for metamixer just HD details. still need the metamixer Clara 8.1 add-on to fully have Clara 8.1 used in the metamixer.

Well, the first of these newfound Mega Bundle's I'm going to buy the whole bundle for, as soon as my money isn't needed for more pressing problems.
Clara 8.1 looks great! I just noticed this week that my favourite 8.1 Core Figure skins/characters are by Yannek/Kayleyss (I don't know what happened to Michael 8.1's morph though). I hope they'll give the males another try.
I have no use for a ballerina, and the Nutcracker is my least favourite Tchaikovsky, but the deal on the Mega Bundle when purchasing two new Daz+ items makes it decent. Thanks, Daz, for doing this well.
OT, I just saw "The Limehouse Golem" and discovered that Victoria 8.1 looks like Olivia Cooke, and Xue Hair will mimic her coif in that film.
I'm sure he'll be around shortly.
Think of him as an outfit, one that when you have to combine it with other outfits you then need to hide most of the first outfit using conveniently included body hiding presets.
I can't tell if Clara 8.1's eyes are too small, or if I've become so used to comically oversized Genesis 8 eyes that normal-sized eyes look strange now.
