[Octane render, the pane choice is not in pane tabs or is it's name under about plugins] I cant open the tabs therefor, the icons in content library are there but for instance when i click on new skin tone nothing happens to g8f, has this happening with anyone else ?

Have you checked the status of the plug-in in Help>About Installed Plug-ins?

yes I have it is not there, i ahve restarted also, still not there

What exactly are you installing? I don't think the Octane plug-in comes with a DIM pacakge.

i got it from the site, downloaded through Daz central, wasnt shown in panes or about my plug ins only in content library so i went to DIM uninstalled and reinstalled from there, same result though

oh soory-  octane render kit it is called

That is a set of tools (materials, lights, etc.) to help get up and running with octane for daz Studio - it isn't octane itself, which comes directly from Otoy.
