Fur causing computer to freeze
Hoping to figure this out, thanks in advance for any help!
A number of different "furs" are making my computer crash when I try to render it, mostly all things that are add-ons for Daz Dog.
Fox for Daz Dog, Dire Wolf for Daz dog, and Oso-Fur all cause my computer to freeze, to the point where it needs a hard-reboot.
If I remove the fur and just have the smooth model, no freeze.
I can use strand-based hair just fine but I really dont want to have to style my own hair/fur for these models when they come with their own.
I have CPU rending off since I have plenty of RAM. Running on 32GB RAM and a RTX 2060. My program renders complex scenes just fine and rarely ever gives me issues, except specifically when the fur is involved.
I am sure there is a setting or something that I'm missing.
Thank you for any advice you can offer!!!

Thanks both very much!
I am able to do it now, the tricks helped. It still "freezes" for about 15-20 minutes but now starts up again and completes the render. I appreciate the help!
