core lighting help

I just got core lighting by LAtinos, i DONT UNDERSTAND HOW it WORKS, WHEN I CLICK NEW ICONS THE LIGHTING DOESNT SEEM TO CHANGE AT ALL, WITH EACH NEW ICON CLICKED DOES THE OLD LITE SET DISAPEAR FROM THE SCENE TREE OR I HAVE TO DELETE THE OLD ONES EACH TIME? ALSO HOW ARE THE SET QUAILTYS USED? IS THERE A LINK WITH DIRECTIONS PDF? if anyone has the product that can help me out thanks a lot, I tried writing the author but hadn't heard back and was anxious to try them out

    Juding by the SKU14792, that lighting set may be for 3Delight and may  not work properly with an Iray environment.  Looking at the promo pics, parametric spot or point light may have been used, which theoretically will work. You still need to know some basic understanding of lighting.

    The Core Lighting sets are for 3Delight, not Iray.

    Yes, when you load a light set any actual lights already in the scene will be removed by default. If you wish to add the new lights hold down the cmd(Mac)/ctrl(Win) key while double-clicking.
