Chromebook support?

Can Daz be installed on a Chromebook? Just wondering.

    Simple answer...

    No.

    Complicated Answer...

    If it's running ChromeOS or whatever Google calls it now, then no.

    If it has a Intel or AMD x64 CPU then possibly you can install Windows on it and then maybe yes, you would need to tell us the make, model and specififications of the device.

    Chromebooks were designed as low-end computers, and Daz/Iray is a huge resource hog, so even if you could theoretically install it your Chromebook would probably explode.

    Thanks Steve. My main reason for asking is how flexable and uncomplicated the Chromebook is. Windows is such a hog that it causes Daz to crash or so it seems with so many background programs running. I like to experiment to see what can actually run Daz since I had success with a Windows tablet pc and a "gaming" Laptop. Ijust got a Chromebook and was curious to see if anyone had tried it.
