Turning inverse kinematics off

Recently upgraded to 4.16 from 4.10, and just noticed a strange behavior. When I pose a character (V4 in this case) and later decide to move it (by its root node), the legs and arms behave as when the limbs were pinned in 4.10; they move slightly out of position. But it does not happen when I reposition by dragging the "hip" node. Has anyone else noticed this? And if yes, has anyone found a solution?
