Daz freezes when I use Face Transfer as soon as I click browse for image

Everything works fine except sometimes when I try to use the Face Transfer panel the moment I choose the browse option to search for images on my computer the folder that opens completely freezes. This is very frustrating not sure why it is happening. Nothing really fixes it and sometimes it resolves itself. But Ive been up all night trying to get it to work and it freezes everytime. One thing I noticed is once I click browse the folder that opens is my download folder and it has a preivew image pane. I think this is making it impossible to browse files. I tried disabling this feature in windows but Daz seems to want to display image previews despite changing my whole computer's settings. 
Is there a way to change the way Daz browses the file explorer?

I just want a simple folder to explore with no previews.

Anyone have any similar problems or have an idea how to fix??

 

I have the paid version of face transfer it works really well when it works.

Logfile doesnt show anything noteworthy...

    A screenshot of the issue may help.  Is it just the one folder giving you trouble?  What if you empty the folder, does it still freeze?  What about browsing other folders?  What file types are in the initial folder?
