I find The Iraduim render time is huge and very slow, anyone know if any adjustments can be made to make it faster.

Several discussions about Iray going on in the commons and the Daz Studio forum
but without some of the better and newer Nvidia cards out there your limited to CPU and RAM which is going to be significantly slower in comparison to rendering time than 3Delight and at this time there is no slider for quality vs. speed like on the 3Delight tab. Lighting and texturing will play a big part in overall time required, improperly or overly lit scenes can be a huge bottleneck, large textures when smaller ones can be used, objects in the scene but not in the render, etc. but without those higher end Nvidia cards don't expect times anywhere close to what you got with 3Delight, but the overall quality appears to be much closer to realism that what was capable with Studio's subdued implementation of 3Delight actual rendering potential.
