"Storewide" sale?

Hi guys, I noted with excitement the "Storewide Sale" announcement of 50% off, but Zeus the Cat is still not discounted. Do I misunderstand what "storewide" means? Maybe in the US it's different to the rest of the countries I have lived in? Genuinely confused; there is no qualifier on the advertisement or headliner such as: *except new items, etc. Is it just me being greedy, having way overspent in the last few weeks, but still craving 50% off Zeus? LOL!!

Zeus was released on 25 Nov, so should not be available for a sale discount until it is over 60 days. Which really bites because I want the furry guy too.
LOL! I suspected as much, but my gripe about the use of improper language on the headliner still stands. So we wait with bated breath for our new furry companion. I saw him when he first arrived but only began the craving when the Sphinx cats came out!! Man, do I want to turn those into Devons, and Siamese! LOL!
"Storewide" in Canada means discounted items throughout the store - not everything in the store, but some items, or most items, in most parts of the store. So in a department store, it would mean discounted items in the electronics department, the shoe department, the ladies coat department, and most of the other departments.
Generally, "storewide" means everything except the items in my wishlist.
Wow, interesting perversion of the word,,, Something to remember if I ever get to visit Canada (bucket list!). Thanks!
LOLOLOL!! Me too!!
