(Solved) Get (moderator) feedback on image(s) before publishing in the gallery?

Is it possible to get a preliminary feeback from moderator(s) if an image is compliant with the TOS? The TOS states some no-no's, but it leaves a lot of room for interpretation (e.g. what is an acceptable coverage of sensible parts).

I am not really keen to continue the "trial-and-error" approach.

  • Each mod is their own entity as well. I'm not sure any one mod's judgment will necessarily make things any clearer.
It's not really fair to any one mod to pre-judge because another mod might interpret the rule differently...

It's not exactly a clear distinction at all times. Judgment is involved in all moderation.

If I get something removed from the gallery, I get something removed from the gallery. It's not personal to me.

People get stuff removed from the gallery all the time. As long as it's a good faith attempt at compliance, I don't see the shame in that trial by fire.

I might complain about the rules, and I do complain about the rules.
Moderation? I don't complain about moderation.

I try to follow the rules as best as I can. Sometimes I get something deleted. It's no big deal.

I don't think you will suffer any consequences (beyond the removal of the picture itself) as long as you're not doing something blatantly against the rules.

If your talking about posting the image in the forums then you can send them to dazforummod@daz3d.com and our whole team will get them and we can reply to your request. We actually really appreciate this being done if you have a questionable image you are wanting to post.

On the gallery end you can upload your image and just not publish it. There is a section for writing a message to the moderators, fill that out and submit. They will review it and notify you back. If you wish once reviewed they can publish it, you will just have to let them know what your wishes are.

So, in both places you are able to have the mods review your images first before posting.

Edit: Dah, I should read better. You said gallery in the title, but I gave the info for both if you wish to post in the forums.
