Reinstall everything

Is it possible to remove everything from my Mac and reinstall all software and purchases while keeping my own creations safe? I know they're in an outside folder but, I seem to have a lot of issues with actors, Michael 4 especially. Apparently, some needed files went missing and reinstalling doesn't seem to work.

Any tips on doing this?

"Reinstall everything" won't solve that sort of problem. Unless you make an effort to dig it out, content settings will be preserved unaffected through an uninstall/install.

Did you use the DIM installer to get your content? Did you install your content in the default location, whether using DIM or manually? The problem most likely is that DAZ|Studio and DIM do not talk to each other — it's possible (some might say much too easy) to have DIM install content to its new default location and have D|S looking for installed content in its old default location. There's a pretty good chance all your content is properly installed as far as DIM is concerned, you only need to check the settings in D|S to make sure all your content paths are actually the same.

Also nested folders or duplicates can cause 'not found' errors...like if you have a My Content/My Content folder.
