How does one make a rigged item control more than one item?
Example; you buy an item with a door that can open and close.
You create a primitive cylinder [ laser ] you want the cylinder be turned on [ be made visible ] when door is open. The default would be invisible [ laser(s) off ], door closed. The slider that controls that door would now also control the visibly/invisibly of the cylinder. Make sense?
Looked at daz doc through search engines – muddy.

Just use "ERC freeze" to link properties.
Backup your files before attemting this.
For what you're wanting...
In the parameters pane, right click(or use the tab menu options) and select "Edit mode".
highlight Visible(Parameters>Display) and right click, select "ERC freeze" from the menu
in the pop-up, check the "Attenuate" box, this will unlock the sub properties.
Click on "Mode" and select "controller"
Click on "node" and click through the nodes to select the one you want to control the visibility of.
Click on "Property" and select the property you wand to control visibility.
I recommend unchecking, restore figure, apply control property and restore figure rigging. These can slow down, if not outright crash DS, in some instances.
Then move the control parameter to the max setting, i recommend setting a maximum for this.
As the visibility property is an on/off parameter, it won't engage till at 100% or 1, depending on if you use percents or not.
To keep the parameter, you'll need to File>Save as>Support asset>Save modified asset.
If you're working off a single DSF, it will appear in the menu that comes up.
If you're working with multiple dsf files, it will list all the dsf files that will be modified.
Before I try this operation; to make sure I understand you: this is the laser [ primitive cylinder ] right?
I don’t see which click statements go to the door and which ones go to the cylinder.
If you could re-tag which steps go to the door and which go to the cylinder this would be greatly appreciated
I made the door invisible, but the door would not be come visible – open or closed. And remember we are trying to turn on the lasers when the door is open.
This is one item trying to affect another item. A brought item with an item you made. And yes I did move my item in the door tree, other wise my item node would not show up as a selectable node.
how do you move a slider up or down in the order set?
