Unable to save Zbrush morphs in Daz3D from imported model in .cr2 or pz3 format
I have some old Dinoraul dinosaur models that I am attempting to update for personal use and make them more scientifically accurate, but sadly, some of these models are for Poser (which I hate). Now, if I import any file with one of the two formats I mentioned, after modifying the model with Zbrush, when I send it back to Daz, this message appears:
If I then click on "accept", a model without rig is imported. How can I make Poser models work correctly on Daz and Zbrush? Also, this message appears even without modifying the model. I can just send it to Daz right away and this message appears anyway.
NOTE: to be able to save a file from Poser for Daz and keep any morphs, I go to Edit> General Preferences> Miscellaneous tab and uncheck Use External Binary Morph Targets. Otherwise, the model imported into Daz will be devoid of any morphs already made with Poser (which as I have already said, I hate.)
Can anyone help me? Thanks.

So you import into DS, from the Poser files, and send over to ZBrush, then send it back to DS without adding or removing any geometry? How about if you import the Poser OBJ file into Zbrush, export the result as OBJ, and try aplying that to the imported figure (using the Poser preset in Morph Loader)?
Hey there, Richard. Sorry I didn't answer earlier, but I was very busy. Anyway, I did like this: from Poser I sent the model to Zbrush and exported it to OBJ. I went back to Poser and saved the file for Daz in pz3. Then I imported it into Daz and opened Morph Loader with these settings:
After I click on accept and this message appears. I assume everything went well, but I can't find the morph anywhere, not even in Zbrush's.
Did I do something wrong? Also, I remember there was something called DSON Importer. Do you think it could be useful to me for such a thing?
Why not just load the CR2 directly? if you are able to get the morph into Poser (which I'm not sure of from your description) in Poser go to Edit>General Preferences and in the Miscellaneous tab make sur use external Binary Morph Targets is off. Save a new CR2 (character file) to the library and open that in Daz Studio (or save a PZ3, either should do the job).
