How Do You Save New Material Zones

If I take an exsisting body suit, for example, and I create new Material Zones using the Geometry Editer in Daz3D, how do I save that so I can re-apply them to the suit anytime I want?

I would say Save As > Support Asset, but with a new name, unless you want to override the existing.

I saved the figure, wearing the suit as a subset, but when I load it, the suit's bones are all messed up.  I can load a new suit that is just fine, but doesn't have the new surfaces.

  • Anything that loads the model, rathr than changing the settings for an already-loaded model, shoulc bring in the modified grouping. If the onyl chnage was grouping, and you hadn't memorised the rigging in a modified form, I'm not sure why it would fail like that.

I've never had the rigging do that.  I just finished redoing it all and saving a subset.  Hopefully it never happens again.
