Quick G8.1 Texture Question you might know

When I load up Victoria 8.1 everything loads in fine and works great. However, when I then add any kind of volumetric atmosphere prop, like the ones included in Cloudscape Creator or Streets of the Wild West I lose the mouth textures (gums and tongue). They just go full black.
IF I convert the character to UBER shader than regular G8F textures work fine. Specifically, though, I'm trying to use Victoria 8.1...
Does anybody else see this issue?
EDIT... I just found a workaround. If you select the volumetric atmosphere prop in the scene tab and lower the cutout opacity by .00001 everything works. SO, that works enough for me. THank you for your time! I'll leave this here in case anybody else sees this issue and doesn't know what to do, though :)

Does the texture issue happen in renders, or just in the viewport?
I'm sorry for such a late reply... everybody got COVID for Christmas... LOL not the best present ever but we all managed through just fine.
It happens in all the shaded preview, Iray preview, AND in the final render. I THOUGHT lowering the opacity on the atmosphere prop was a workaround, but now the atmosphere effect isn't rendering at all. This kinda sucks..
It also ONLY happens with Genesis 8.1 female.
Does nobody else see this?
OK another quick update... I learned that it fixes the issue if I set the "Refraction Index" to "1.01" instead of "1", and that solves my issue but keeps the "atmosphere" visible. By lowering the cutout opacity even the slightest the whole thing seemed to dissappear.
SO, I guess if anybody else has that issue jsut do that. I don't know what a Refraction Index is, but this seemingly has no negative effect on the image during final render so I guess I'm good to go.
