Are old private messages gone?

in The Commons

I wanted to look into old private messages because two of them included a link to assets I want to install, but in "message" I only find a recent promo message from DAZ about the holidays sales. Are older message deleted?

    Are you looking at your account messages (account icon, top right of site banner) or the forum Inbox (gear wheel, top right of forum page)?

    They're still there.  Click the gear and choose your username.  On your username page click the gear and choose "Your inbox".  I still have PMs dating back to 2013, so there's that cool

    Account messages are not saved, though; once they've run their course that's it sad

     I was looking for the forum inbox and didn't remember it was different from the account messages. Thank you.

    Thank you. I was mistaking the private messages for the DAZ messages in my account.
