Pse help - NFX Farmhouse problem

I picked up NFXStudios farmhouse up the other day when it was on Fast Grab and it looks like it could be very useful:

But I can only render it with very simple lights. With most complex light setups it causes DS 4.7 to crash part way through the render, possibly because of the highly detailed textures.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Can anyone suggest something to solve this problem? I have tried uninstalling and redownloading but without improvement.
Thanks for any help you can provide,
Charlie

What are your system specs? What do you mean by complex lights?
System:
HP p6710f desktop
4 core processor - AMD Athlon II x 4 640 processor 4GHz
6.00GB Installed physical memory
2.97GB Available physical memory
11.5GB Total virtual Memory
8.26GB Available virtual memory
ATI Radeon HD4200 Graphics
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
Lighting:
Lighting with a couple of DS standard distant or point lights work
Lighting with AOA advanced Distant light works
Lighting with AOA advanced ambient light causes crash
Lighting with most prepackaged lights especially those that use Uberenvironment 2 causes crashes
Hmm I get that too - just loaded the farmhouse and an Age of Armor Advanced Ambient light, got a crash. Please make a bug report on this.
Thanks. Will do.
Have you tried it with DAZ Dimension Lights'? They are also one of the sets that cause the farmhouse (at least with exterior view) to crash for me.

It seemed to me that it crashed if there were lights with ambient occlusion and not if there weren't. It's possible that there's something in the geometry that the latest versions of 3Delight (it does this in the beta too) don't like when calculating AO.
I submitted a bug report about this in Feburary, #185835. I have not seen any additional information since the help desk confirmed it was a bug.
Richard and Mark: Thanks for your replies.
At least now I know that the problem is not my setup. However, I still have to decide if I want to return it. I like it and think it has a lot of potential. It was on fast grab so it wasn't too expensive (just under $9). But at the same time if I can't find a good light setup that will give me results similar to the ones in the exterior promo then it is of limited use to me.
Since Mark already submitted a bug report should I still submit one also?
Charlie
Yes, submit a bug report. The more reports DAZ gets, the more likely they'll pay more attention to this issue.
OK I have submitted the report. But if it isn't resolved and I can't find a suitable workaround before the 30 days is up, I may have to return it.
I wouldn't return it, just because some light sets aren't working. The house itself is fine, and renders beautifully even with standard lights. I suggest experimenting with the lighting and come up with your own setup.
I received the following response to my report:
"HI Charles
Yes we are aware of the issue and it has been reported as a bug and is being worked on by the dev team. There should be a fix for it in a future build of DAZ studio beta.
Thank you for the additional information. i will had it over to the dev team.
Since this issue has already been turned into a bug I am going to close this ticket. When the issue is fixed you will see it in updated build that comes out.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a good day."
Try lowering down ambient oclussion strength at 50 % or less in advanced ambient lights on oclussion menu.
Or even lower down ao strenght at 0% if necessary, you'll need to lower down the ligth intesity too, 50-65%
