Is there a way to save a dforce preset only?

Until now I can only archive a preset when I save the whole scene.

I have the feeling I overseen something important.

    Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Save a done simulation.

    You could save the item as a subset; there is no need to spend cash, unless you want to of course.

    Mhh, when I save it as subset, all the simulatet dforce items get set back to zero.

    If you want to pause a simulation I'm afraid that isn't possible, even without closing DS and reloading the scene.
