ICLONE INFORMATION

Hey I need some info on Iclone
As I am trying to understand the software I see there are different versions more expensive than the standard...
Then I see even with the pro version in order to use my Genesis Actors and scenes I need to also add another tool "Daz Genesis Extension" that costs $129.00... So I see one leads to the other to the other to the other!!!!
1. So what do I need to get started, also with the ability to of course add my present Gen 2 stuff?
2. What is your experience with the Softwares?
3. Is it worth it?
Any suggestions you might add please express them
Thank you

That is a very good question. In the Bundle Packages that we have offered on the DAZ Store, we have tried to provide a brief intro on what each package does and what you need for certain tasks. But I can surely clear things up here again for you. I hope this helps.
============================
#1 - iClone 6 PRO - This is package offers the stand-alone iClone 6 software for quick facial and body animations. This is the version you want if you are looking to expand your use of iClone in the future (import, export, mocap, indigo) NOTE: you cannot import assets with just this tool. You need 3DXchange if you wish to do this.
#2 - iClone 6 PRO Empowerment Bundle - This package is for users that already have iClone 5 and 3DXchange 5, and are looking to take advantage of the new iClone 6 features.
#3 - iClone 6 PRO 3DXchanage Bundle - This package is for people that want the entire iClone 6 - DAZ friendly package. This includes iClone, 3DXChange, Genesis Extension. NOTE: To celebrate Reallusion's partnership with DAZ we have provided the Genesis Extension files for FREE to DAZ users. Just download it here >> http://bit.ly/DAZ-iClonefiles
#4 - iClone 6 PRO Render Bundle - This package is for users that wish to create photo-realistic renders with iClone. They will use iClone 6 to create poses/animations, and then send the animation/asset data to Indigo RT, via the Indigo plug-ing, for final ray tracing render. NOTE: To import DAZ assets into iClone, you still need 3DXChange and the Genesis Extension.
#5 - iClone 6 PRO Full Bundle - - This bad boy has it all. Everything you need to import DAZ Genesis characters, convert them for use in iClone, animate in iClone, and final photo-realistic render in Indigo RT.
============================
3DXchange 6 - Will be available in May, 2015. The difference between 3DX6, and 3DX5, is that version 6 will allow you to export iClone 6 content. Currently 3DX5 only allows you to import content (DAZ content included) into iClone 6. If you are wondering about upgrading later, YES Reallusion will offer special upgrade prices for people who already have 3DXchange 5 and just wish to upgrade to version 6.
If users would like to review the previous iClone 5 tutorials, you can always visit - The Path to iClone - thread.
