Katharina Hair for V4

just saw this hair can go on v4 too! does anyone know where i can find the hair for v4 in the library    thanks

    Generally v4 content is in the Poser Format libraries under Hair. And those do not have smart content metadata so you need to access them through the Content Library tab.

    • You can find new icons for loading this product in the following Poser Libraries:

      • Figures: “DAZ Victoria 4:Hair:OOT Katharina Hair”

      • Materials: “DAZ Victoria 4:Hair:OOT Katharina Hair”

      • Pose: “DAZ Victoria 4:Hair:OOT Katharina Hair”

    i found one hair location in but that hair isnt there, thanks though

    The path to this hair is going to be in "Poser format>Figures>Daz Victoria 4>Hair>OOT Katharina hair"

    The "Character" folder is renamed to "Figures" in software.

    This is, if you've installed the poser version, in addition to the genesis versions.

    There's three zips, one for g2f, one of g3f, and one for v4.

    There's also the "poser companion files" which is an additional install package for using the g2/3 hair in poser.

    thanks for those explanations eevryone, maybe i should reinstall it through IM?

    but i wonder why my path arent the same as listed above

     

    all i find is daz people-v4         hairs are seen at bottom

    you are using a DAZ directory by looks

    have you added a Poser Runtime to content?

    i dont think i have added anything if it wioll help can you send me a screen shot of how i should, theres so much stuff thats hard to find stuff i got free from rendorosity-maybe that will help me find things i iunstalled but never could find

    To add a poser content directory in DS :

    Go to In Edit > Preferences > Content, click on "content directory manager".

    Under "Current directories" there's a section for "Poser formats". Add the path to the folder which contains the "runtime" directory where you installed your V4/M4 content in that section.

    Once it's done you should see that folder under "poser formats" in content library tab.

    And you have definitely installed the V4 file? There are four installer files altogether, you need the Poser Core one.

    i installed it through IM is there a way to check if the poser core one has been included in the installation? thank you!

    If you look in the "installed" tab in DIM and search for Katharina Hair, what do you see? There are 3 files for that product according to the product page.

    it is not installed, just for g2 and 3 it says in IM

    Open the settings for DIM (cogwheel in the corner, then "advanced settings") and look in the "Downloads" tab. In the "Filters" section there should be a checkbox for Poser (or maybe multiple ones for various versions), once checked the Poser Core files should appear in your "ready to download" list.

    Leana, got tbhis far but now im stuck, am i supposed to see runtime right here at this point or can you explain a little better, I am a little b it of a computer dummy sometimes-thanks

    Where did you install the files? You currently have 4 poser content directories listed, is your install directory one of them?

    yeah i have 2 my daz3d library, i install files from rendorosity drag into my daz3d library (is that what you were asking?), -and i have 2 of them first one outside second one daz stuff is found-strange, when i reinstalled daz that didnt change

     

     is your install directory one of them    - i dont know   i can take a screen shot to show you if you tell me where to take one at-thanks
