When I select the figure in the Scene tab and try to run the script to flip the pose, just as explained in the promo video, I get the following error:

I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong, or if the product is defective.

If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Try the Symmetry command on the Parameters menu. You can do it for the whole figure by selecting the whole figure or you can do it for one/more bones (+children) by selecting only those bones e.g. select the shoulders to only symmetrize arms.

In the dialog box choose Selected Only and Left to Right or Right to Left. Voila = symmetry.

Thank you. I know how to do that.

I purchased this product to make life easier, but if it doesn't function then I guess I will return it for a refund.

  • Are you sur it's a figure, with bones? Which base figure is it? The eror appears to be saying that the script did not find any bones to work on.

It is the base Genesis 8 Male that I had just applied a pose to. So the figure was still selected when I ran the script to see if the pose would flip.

Are there any Genesis 8 figures without bones? I think something is wrong with the product.

You hadn't said which figure you were using. Are you sure it was selected, and wasn't parented to a prop?

Closing this sine you are also asking in another thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7243346/#Comment_7243346
