Whole Bluccking Program [ENTIRE WINDOW MISSING] Gone Now Fixed!! Solution Found: ALT + SPACE!

It's like it is off in ANOTHER DIMENSION OR reality! I have tried: F3 changing layout load keybinding SO IT EXISTS and opening my layouts! Also I've opened theirs! I've RESTARTED and uninstalled, and REINSTALLED, deleted whole temp file and several and tried loading layouts! It appears to be not the layout SHIFT-f11 or any other FIX avaiable! Please help! I need to get back-to-work.

Daz User for years this is the most difficult problem i think, since i stopped using daz in 2011? because of it not working so much or well on a certain pc, and then picked it up on my new laptop back in like 2013 and have been using it since then on that pc and my new NEW NVIDIA G-FORCE 1080 Asus Laptop and it's been great! IRAY renders FASTER than 3dlight but this, this is a big problem!

1. showing you the splash screen when it loads
2. Showing the capture of that with snippet and a right-click on the invisible daz program!
3. showing you SHIFT-F11 looks like, and no i can't add panes from that!

AND WHAT I MEAN by "[file]" is that the file, view, content, workspace tab that should exist under the minimize/MAXIMIZE tab it just gone, just as she is, it's all in another dimension, on a screen that doesn't exist - where i can't scroll the mouse, i can only press enter [only opens rendered .png images] and right click with ausus keyboard!! Like i have shown, any help - greatly appreciated!

It is really hard to understand what you are saying, but if you have updated DS and that was the result, you have updated DS when the previous version was still running in the background.
Before updating DS, you need to make sure that the Task Manager does not show Daz Studio running anymore.
You better restart your computer, then uninstall DS and reinstall again.
Have you tried shift F11 (shift plus the F11 function key)? It looks as if DS is stuck in full-screen mode.
Yes as I said i tried that! I can go in and OUT of fullscreen mode but it ONLY gives me the "viewport" and I need all the other tabs and the file, content top and minimize MAXIMIZE tabz too!

Poking around in the folders one day I noticed an interesting shortcut, "RestoreDefaults"
It's at:
C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4
I've never clicked it but it looks to be worth a try.

that is for the install manager, and it JUST loads the install manager! well see if it works: NOPE!

What happens if your double-click on the mini-window's title bar?
Sometimes, windows will get stuck drawing onto a non-existant secondary screen. This often happens to me when I use Daz Studio on a secondary monitor plugged into my laptop, then try to start it later with no monitor attached. If that's what's happening, then you can try two things:
Another trick you can try is to drag a visible window to the right or left edge of the screen until you activate the "snap window to edge" feature. Let it snap to the edge, and maybe you will get the option to snap the Daz Studio window to the other edge.
No, it is on the computer in the folder I indicated. I do not have DIM installed, nor Centrale for that matter.
OK much thanks! um that was the ONLY file that was labeled "restoredefaults" in the ENTIRE daz4 folder, and I THINK you're RIGHT danielbui78 ABOUT the screen thingy i figured it MIGHT be that, but my "secondary screen" that i haven't used for MONTHS is DOWNSTAIRS and we STILL have the problem with the weirdness of tiny icon when CTRL shift ALT tab! i will try like both and try to find a way to plug into another monitor i have experienced something like this BEFORE but it was.. well there was a handy monitor around.. i haven't used a sec monitor in a long while..

OK I JUST TRIED ALT+SPACEBAR AND IT WORRKED! but then i couldn't alt-tab out to opera? but i dragged it and too a snap of it in small mode, SOOO WEIRD but it think it's FIXED FOR NOW THANKS ALL!
COMPLETELY FIXXED ONCE I LOADED MY PREFERRED WORKSPACE> Select Layout!

That's a forum glitch thingie. After you have posted what you want to ... and IF you still see the typing box with the same words in it, ignore it. Click away to a couple of other threads and then check back at the white tog wheel and look if there are any "drafts" available. If there are, select and delete them.
I noticed that! No I was talking about "closing the discussion" like you know- "fixed" problem solved. Its kinda SILLY now EVERY time i OPEN DAZ it does tha thing, but at least I know how to fix it NOW!

Okay. You can edit your first post and change the title putting [Solved] in it.
btw - while you found a fix [which is great] it still might be worth a ticket to Tech Support 'cause it shouldn't be doing that in the first place.
When you get D/S open, go to Help ... Log file, open that and delete everything. Save [don't change the save location or anything just save the blank page]. Close D/S. Open D/S and see what's written in the log file. Send a copy of that as a .txt file along with your ticket. Might be of some help.
funny, I have D|S installed on two computers and one only has one monitor plus a TV connected and if I open D|S with the TV off or turn the TV off it will simply chuck all the tabs off my TV onto my monitor
but
Chome will hide on the other one (the TV) if I leave it there shutting down!

That's interesting. Over here I can run D/S OR my browser, when running both they affect each other as I gather the memory runs low. I'm dreaming of a new computer lol ...
