Turn costum model into g8

Hi. i would like to turn a blender model into a g8 model. is there a way to import it somehow? if not then is there a possibility that the g8 model will take the shape of my model? or do I have to sculpt everything myself? I want to turn a whole body into g8.

  • Export as OBJ from Blwender and import into Daz Studio. It needs to line up with the base figure without adjustment, if you have that then Edit>Figure>Transfer Utility, set the soruce to the Genesis 8 figure and the Target to the imported OBJ. That should give a basic rigged figure, though it's likely to need work. You could also, if it's a welded mesh (all one piece) apply a dForce modifier from the Simulation Settings pane option menu, or you could use a mix of both (rig, then apply dForce and limit it the skirt by setting other surfaces' dynamic strength to 0 or by using a weight map accessed through a dForce Weight Node).
