Can you lighten or darken skin in surface tab?

Hi,
Just wondering if there is a quick way to lighten or darken skin tones within daz studio, possibly using the surface tab. Changing the gamma value of the skin would do it, or something like it. I looked around and was not able to figure this out.
I suppose I could lighten or darken skin in photoshop... but it would be so much easier staying with in studio.
thanks.

If you select the skin surfaces and look at the Surfaces tab, you will see that under 'Diffuse' there is the image used for the skin, and an RGB color defined. You could try altering the RGB value to lighter and darker - or at least darker, since it is usually pretty light.
Yep, the easiest way is the diffuse setting with limits off
you could try using ambient but your character will then seem to glow if in a dark scene
the best way would be to edit the images though as you said
Perfect!
Exactly what I was looking for
Thanks
