Trouble using Shackled! for Genesis 8

So I have been trying to connect leg restrains to hand restrains with a long chain and the problem is that the chains main parent bone is the middle link instead of the one of the end links. So I tried to pose the middle link properly moving the whole object and when I move the other links and get the end ones to the restraints I see that the middle link looks off and basically have to start all over. Does anyone know any tips for using this or a different chain object that's easier to use?

Not sure what you mean by off but if you put a pin in the end link (or any link) with the active pose tool that will allow you to grab the other end and pull it around with the pinned link as the anchor point.

I also sometimes just hide half of a rope or chain that I want to use that is rooted in the middle. I actually stopped trying to mess with that in Daz all together and use polyline follow curves in blender to Rhino (i think you can do this in hexagon too, I did a belt like that sometime ago.) It requires several extra steps of exporting and importing but the results are usually a LOT better.

Off as in the middle link doesn't look positioned correctly as the rest of the chain and pin only works to the middle link as the middle is the parent and wont move.

    Hi!

No, there's no easy way to do that. That's actually why I made the dForce one in the end:

Hang on, I'll send you a PM.

Yeah there is a chain and cuff prop that's rooted to the last link but the chain is to short for what I want. I dont really want to import and export a bunch of stuff between programs but I'll see.
