PA Censored some products gone - question

As also his DAZ+ / PC+ items are gone, as I thought that these would be owned/ bought by DAZ - has there surfaced a problem with these items, like a copyright problem so we can't use them for commercial purposes? 

And would DAZ inform his customers in such a case?

    Oh no, not again, I still want the Damaged Painted Plaster Wall Shaders, any way to still get these or am I just out of luck?

    Not entirely sure what is going on as they are still listed under vendors.. But of the 13 items they have in their store, 5 are 404'ed and those are shader products..

    Do you still have this items in your purchased library? If so then should be no problem. I think you should be able to redownload items as well if needed

    Do you still have this items in your purchased library? If so then should be no problem. I think you should be able to redownload items as well if needed

    I was refering  to the Distressed Painted Wood Iray Shader, and they are still gone Link(image). I also couldn't find the painted Plaster Wall shaders you mentioned, could you share a link?

    I was looking to buy right now the Paper and Cardboard Shaders for a render that i'm currently working on and ... tadaah! I cannot complete it.

    Anyway, seeing that you need some cardboard and the Amazon boxes in my recycling bin aren't of much use to you... I rendered out these seamless textures from Filter Forge along with some Normal maps... 

    Maybe you can use them, probably not, but I figured what the hell, if the Cyborg Chinchillas don't kill us all first I might as well randomly render some cardboard... right?

    No, probably not... Anyway these are smaller previews... the bigger actual size 2048 ones can be found at the Art Studio Forum by clicking on the appropriate link below these cardboardie images...

    You'll have to figure out which normal maps go with which Diffuse maps because the forum software renames the images when they are uploaded.

    If you can't use them, please dump your monitor in the nearest recycling bin... remember... "Give A Hoot And Don't... Not Recycle...?"...

    You'll have to figure out which normal maps go with which Diffuse maps because the forum software renames the images when they are uploaded.

    Hovering the mouse pointer over the attachment should show the original filename underneath - I don't know why they then get alphanumeric soup when downloaded.

    l've figured out that the alphanumeric soup is part of the astrological codex that makes up the core plans of The Great Peanut Butter Conspiracy... but I've said too much already...

    But that's good to know... the hovering part that is, not the peanut butter conspiracy thing...

    Thanks for the cardboard reference and normal maps, those will greatly do for the time being, hoping that Censor product will come back soon.

    I reluctantly submitted a ticket to get clarity if we can still purchase the shaders, with the mention of the Oops! page, as it's still not fixed. Let's hope the product pages of Censored reappear.

    Maybe try FSL Weathered Shaders for Iray?  At least one of the shaders in that looks like damaged walls and stuff. Come to that, FSL Filthy Dirty Future Iray Shaders might also have something useful.

    Another possibility might be the decals in Texture Bank Vol 14 Blatant Disregard.

    Come to that, I don't know if Layer Shader for DAZ Studio works in Iray (it's old enough that the ad copy doesn't even mention iray at all, so I'm guessing its from the 3DLight era) but it has damaged wall effects in it. (Tries it real quick on a cube prim.)  Hmmmm... all I get is blank surfaces when I try it in iray.

    On the subject of old cardboard, though.  Iray WoodWors Shaders has a nice, worn carboard shader in it, and has some other stuff that looks like deteriorated paint on various wood surfaces.

    This product uses shader overlays, so the original texture and details of the object is preserved. 

    I use it frequently to add rust, grime, moss, etc to anything without messsing up the details of the original object.

    They might be in the store, but there is no product page for them that I can see. They just go to the Oops page - page not found.
