Can I/should I delete Materials?

Hi all,

Looking for ways to reduce the size of my Runtime. I'm currently running Daz Studio 4.7 and have no intent to purchase Poser.

Over the years have acquired lots of Poser freebies and products that are installed in my Runtime.

Is there any reason to keep the files loaded into Materials in Libraries?

Are there any other files that DS does not/can not use that I could delete?

    Some materials files will work in DS - at least to apply the basic maps. Whether you want them will depend on whether they work, and if they do whether there are better native DAZ Studio materials (or materials in the Pose library that duplicate the ones in the Materials library, in which case you could certainly zap one of them,).
