[SOLVED] DIM Problem after update to WIN 10 - installed items don't show up

Hello,
I made my update to Win 10 as some of my usual used programs don't longer cooperate under Win 7. DazStudio was not on this list but now I run into the following problem (see attched picture).
All stuff is in the same place as before, namely the PostgreSQL CMS and so on. DazStudio itself (still 4.15) runs fine, only with DIM I have a little problem now: it doesn't longer show all the installed items (there should be a number of around 3400) and want to install the PostgreSQL CMS again and so on. As I said: that is all installed and in place as before.
Any advices and hints about what I can do?
Thanks in advance, Paul

Install Manager uses the Manisfests folder tot rack what it has installed - make sure the .dsx files are still there, and that Install Manager is still pointing to the correct folder for them.
As far as I understand it (but I might be wrong), DIM knows about installed products by looking into its Manifest folder. In this folder are .dsx files which contain information about the install being done.
If you click the gear icon in DIM and choose basic it opens a windows telling you the various folders it uses.
You can click the Manifest entry and it will open Windows Explorer.
I think, if this folder is empty, DIM does not know anymore what is installed.
It might be that upgrading to Windows 10 has done something to this folder. If you can find that folder and if there are still all the .dsx files in it but DIM does point to different folder, you can click the gear icon in DIM again and choose Advanced this time. There you can change the folder locations.
NOTE: My folder locations are customized, don't use them as a reference.
Thanks a lot! The settings for the ManifestFiles were set back to default (and I have no clue why), and your description leads me to the right path back and now I have all my installed items back in the DIM. I used before a cutomized path too, but wasn't aware of that circumstance.
Many thanks again and all the best,
Paul
Great that it worked. Seems so Richard Haseltine gave the same answer while I was writing mine
