Problem with fitting other models cloths onto genesis 2

Hi. I bought a Tux Edwardian Evening Suit for David 3, with the hope of refitting it to a genesis 2 character. When I select my character then double click on a piece of the tux, any piece, nothing loads on the screen. In fact nothing happens at all. Is there a way to make this work?
Thank you.

Can you load it on Genesis 1? I think you could do that, then re-save it. That one might load on Genesis 2.

There is a way, but it is not trivial, nor necessarily cheap. I can fit any clothing, for any generation 3 figure to G2M or G2F. You need Generation X2 and the appropriate expansion packs for the figure (in your case D3). You can then create an autofit clone for D3 for G2M and after that clothing should fit pretty well. There maybe a few issues with poke through etc, as can happen with autofit, but I find the conversions are pretty good.

You could use these to autofit it to Genesis:

then resave and autofit the resaved version to Genesis 2 as shown here:

Nope. Clone for David 3 is here:

    gen3-iconic are A3, H3, V3, M3, S3 and F3 only.

Autofit to genesis, save and autofit to genesis 2 the saved cloth. Take into acount that some cloth works very on and others have problems.

True. I stand corrected. I wasn't paying enough attention to the original post to think about David 3 in particular.
