Is there any way to keep powerpose pin activated while controlling other part of body?
I have difficulty dealing with powerpose control using pins.
For instance, I'm trying to pin the left hand of genesis 8 male figure so that it is fixed in its own position.
As you can see in the picture below, the pin icon glows red so it indicates that now the pin is activated.

However, when I try to control torso group of the figure, the pin icon turns into blue color so the pin is deactivated as you can see in the next picture.

What I want to do is to leave the left hand on its place while turning the figure's torso group, not making the left hand follows the torso.
Is there any setting to keep powerpose pin activated?
I can't find any.
It would be grateful to let me know.
Thank you.

Please put the Viewport into Smooth Shaded mode, or in this case just zoom and pan a bit to show only the upper torso, if the figure is unclothed.
I don't think pinning works with PowerPose, though I may be misremembering - it does work, though not with a great deal of resistance, with other posing tools.
Thank you for your answer. I should try the alternative way that you suggested to me. And I'm sorry for violating the image posting regulation. I was unaware of that. Next time, I will abide by the rule. Thank you.
I don't use Power Pose much so I can't advise on that but I do use Active Pose (icon is a Bone with an Arrow pointer) which does have pins. They work but not perfectly - the hands/feet often jerk or slide out of place. There is also a script in the store called LimbStick which doesn't use pins but keeps the hands and feet attached to a target (such as a plane or prop).
