Does anyone know if there is a scenery product of a hillside with flowers leading down to a view of the ocean or lake?

I think this would be so beautiful and lend itself to so many scenes.

I have attached a picture of what I am thinkin of from Howl's Moving Castle.

  • I was just imagining a long shot. Not necessarily that one, but with figures and a vehicle in the distance.

So much of my library is optimized for up close. That longer shot is a different thing.

Billboards, scatter products, maybe terrain via bump or displacement mapping at that distance?

It's a good question how to do that. Maybe the Terradome product can get that distance thing for you, with some work.

The hillside up close? I'm sure there's products from our resident nature/botanical set PAs... I just don't know off the top of my head.

    This is nice:

But it doesn't have the flowers or the lake/ocean.

  • You may want to try the other store and the vendor Flink. He has a large landscape sets with flowers and trees.

Thanks. Much of his stuff is for Poser unfortunately, but really nice!

I use Flink's stuff in Daz Studio all the time. It takes minor converting to make it look good, but I usually add SSS/transparency to the leaves and flowers. But then I do that with a lot of Daz store plant items too.

Edit: I meant to add the Highlands is a very nice set. I've only used it a few times, and if memory serves correct I used Ultra Scatter Pro to add short grasses and alpine plants. Ultra Scatter is great for scattering plants across surfaces.

Also Vikike176 has some nice sets that might help such as this Mountain Track: https://www.daz3d.com/mountain-track. I think they have a store at the other place too, but not sure.

As others have said, it's easy to convert. Also his newer products contain Iray mats as well.

Thank you for the product link. I have Ultra Scatter too, so I will try using it for the flowers on the Highlands.

When this comes out, you may be able to use it and there are associated tools by Totte that add even more versatility.
