Expressions presets not working

This is a new computer, Ive been setting up daz and started building scenes in the last few days, and I just noticed the expressions presets do not work. The dials work fine but if I click on an expression from the content panes nothing happens. Any ideas?

    Which figure? Are you maybe using presets for G8 on G8.1? Or presets using morphs you have not installed yet?

    8.0 expressions only works on 8.1 with dials? Cool thanks. 

    edit: okay never mind, something is very wrong, some dials work, others dont, its very weird. I am also having a problem with powerpose, my 8.1 females keep reverting to default generic. However if I load an 8.1 base into the scene, click on it, then on one of my figures showing generic in the powerpose pane, the powerpose goes back to the 8.1 template depending on which sex I load in. If I load in a G8.1 male the female will load the 8.1 male template. 

    very weird, very confusing.

    I'm here having the same problem.  I have expressions work for some actors but when I try and apply to others they just reset into a T-pose.  Here looking for answers. thanks
