Which SubD? The Viewport defaults to 1 anyway, Render SubD is not used until you render. I don't understand why this would happen - is it just the oen scene or is it all scenes? Try loading a base figure into an empty scene, adjust the SubD value, and save - if it stil reset please post that scene file as an attachment.

I can confirm this. I loaded base G8F and changed Render SubD level to 1. I saved the scene. I reloaded the scene and Render SubD Level was 2.
If I change SubDivision Level to 0 and Render SubD Level to 1 and save the scene, it reloads at SubDivision Level 1 and Render SubD Level 2. Edit: This didn't happen when I tried again. I must have made a mistake here.
If I change SubDivision Level to 2 and Render SubD Level to 4 and save the scene, it reloads properly at 2 and 4.
It acts like Daz Studio won't accept any SubDivision Level below 1 or any Render SubD Level below 2. We already know Daz Studio ties Render SubD Level to SubDivision Level, because if you increment SubDivision level, Daz Studio automatically increments Render SubD Level too. I've never understood why Daz tied these together like that, but you can see that SubDivision Level has an ERC Sub-Component to change Render SubD Level. The SubDivision Level Default value is 1. Is that causing problems with trying to reload a scene that set it to 0, and is it then forcing Render SubD Level to 1+1=2?
I closed Daz Studio (I'm using 4.16.0.3) and reopened it and did the test with setting SubDivision Level to 0 and Render SubD Level to1, saving the scene and reloading, and this time it reloaded correctly with 0 and 1. I don't know what could have been different than last time I did the same thing. @cridgit what happens for you if you try that?

Try 0 and 1. On my second try, that worked OK.
Well, the Parameter Setings dialogue shows that there is a link between the two lelvel properties, it behaves like it's adding one to the preview value for the render value. However, I can't find that link in the Property Hierarchy which suggests it may be being handled in a non-standard way, and that may be why it doesn't save properly. Please report this to Daz (if you haven't), with steps to reproduce.
