How Many Items Are in Your Wishlist?

I've just added yet another item to make a dozen's dozen (144) items in my ever-expanding wishlist. Curious to see where other stand...

  • I have 4,747 items in the wishlist. So, a little bit.

When I started here, I noticed that the more items I had on my wishlist = the more I spend. It was like me advertising to myself. So I used to keep my wishlist small and trim, only putting things on there that I really wanted. Just to try and keep my spending in check a little.

That's not really the case anymore. Now that I have a decent sized library I'm generally not spending that much anymore anyway (or that's what I tell myself) so I'm a little looser about putting things on my wishlist. Currently I'm at 194 items.

2462 but I really need to trim that.

  • Zero. I bought the last thing on there yesterday.

Same here, if there's a list, you want to finish it - so I kept buying stuff to 'finish' my WL, even knowing that I'd put a lot of things there just to keep them in mind. Had a terrible effect on my bank account ... So now, I'm taking screenshots of things I don't need / want at the moment but think are interesting nevertheless, and keep those in a folder on my PC - and the WL is strictly for things I really do need or absolutely want to have. And I'm not allowing myself more than 1 page anymore. Currently, I'm down to 41 things.

2784 - I tend to put anything I might be vaguely interested in in the future on there (plus stuff I can't afford now). That way, when a sale rolls around, I can (could - it's not working after the latest store change but hoping to get it back) use the Daz Deals browser addon to filter by wishlist and look only through a few pages rather than a hundred.

Thanks! Now that i'm no longer PC+ the appeal of new items has dropped signifigantly.

It's at 180. I think the highest it was at one point was 194 or 195.

    I feel so inferior. LOL

But seriously, I reached my limit with close to 1,000 products and I sure as hell  don't need to keep buying stuff if I can avoid it.

    1565 items

That's after I pruned it a bit not too long ago.  I think I may have a problem, lol!

Seriously though, I wishlist things so that I don't have to think too hard when sales come up.  I can just look for the little heart and shop just those items.  It saves a lot of time, which is important with flash sales.

I'm currently sitting at 532 (I did knock out quite a bit of stuff last year due to sales).  It was MUCH larger at one point, but I went through and started removing items that maybe the quality wasn't quite what I expected, removed items I probably wouldn't use (mostly things that wouldn't fit fantasy renders), or things that I had something similar.

24 but I frequently toss stuff out and add other stuff.

I too found it tends to evoke a need to clear it by buying respose hence frequently removing things after deciding I don't really need them

At one point I had all the items we had freebie texture sets for in there, after buying a couple on sale and then thinking, I am never going to use this, I tossed most out.

    Ah - three.

I have a set of "rules" on the wishlist. First, the item has to fill an actual need.

Second, I only purchase wishlist items when the discount is 50% or better.

Third, if I pass on an item purchase twice at said discount I didn't need it after all and I remove it from the wishlist.

I found it fascinating the past three months the number of former wishlist items I ended up gett ing for less than three dollars . . .

I have 1000s of items in mine and have bought 1000s of items from it already, but in the last year I hardly refer to it anymore as I've bought most the the half-to items I wanted from it and it's mostly the newest DAZ or PA items I want.

A whopping 202... but that low number is partially because there were quite a few items that I had wishlisted items that were made by vendors who have dissappeared from the store, and partly because I've been studiously buying everything I want before the other vendors disappear.

  • It's currently down to 18. That's mostly new-ish items that I'm waiting to get at discount. I've got so much stuff already in my runtime that I don't often feel the need to buy new stuff.

  • I have 87. It's way too many. There are quite a number of pose sets I know I'm never going to buy, but they're there to remind me what good work looks like if I ever get sloppy with mine. And there are a few expensive items I'd love, but not sure I'll ever be able to afford.

12 - they will sit until the price is compatible with my buying standards. I don't put many in there as there isn't really anything I need. I'm overwhelmed already. 2 are on sale today, but 40% off is not going to hack it. Nor is 50% off.

I had it down to zero, but now it's back up to 479. I can resist anything but temptation.

Mad March is coming and I don't feel prepared financially. There could be trouble ahead ...

  • 32, mostly utilities

  • I thought I was up there at 2,044 ...

271, but most of those are only there in case they show up free or in the $1.99 sales. I've passed over them at 50% and 60% off too many times to count. I guess I really didn't want them that bad, or I have too many similar things already, or I can't imagine actually taking the time to use them. Occasionally I buy some, if there is a 75% off three items type of coupon.

    218. I'd gotten it down to 9 back in April, but I've cut my spending here by 64%, and at release I only buy Core Figures, bluejaunte, Luthbel, fefecoolyellow, & some Daz+ .
