dforce settings for fine details

Is it possible to simulate fine details with dForce? Let's say I have a cloth drapped over an open hand with the fingers pointing up. I would now like to see the shape of the single fingers through the cloth not just the shape of the hand. Is this possible and how do I need to setup the clothing or simulation for that?
Thanks!

Default collision offset is 2 mm, and with that you might be able to simulate a plane with a 4 mm grid, but I don't think you can come much smaller than that. You could try to decrease collision offset to 1 mm and a slightly tighter grid, but then you will probably get problems with poke-through (which might be solved by smoothing).
Alternatively you could scale up the hand and then do a simulation, and after simulation scale the cloth down.
