long pants for digitigrade characters, perferable for genesis

Hi, been having a hard time finding long pants that fit and look good on digitigrade creatures (werewolves, Fauns, Minotaurs, cat people, etc...). The biggest problem is that as the lowest portion of a digitigrade leg is actually the foot, it causes all sorts of placing or bunching issues when I try... or they just don't fit well over the thigh....

For creatures that wear shoes, I can simply switch to human legs for the most part, when using pants, however for hooved creatures, this isn't really an option. There are just so many variations of shorts/loin cloths I can use before they start looking like uniforms...


So can anyone recommend a few decent pants? (other than the Zoot suit for lycanthropos, however, it might become the base for some other if I must make some). Preferably for genesis, as most of my characters are genesis based.

    Do you want the pants to cover that lower part of the leg? I'm pretty sure it could be done in the Poser Fitting Room because it re-does the rigging. I would be very surprised if DS didn't have the capability also.

    You could probably use a magnet / deformer to lengthen the legs with little difficulty.

    My favourite for my Melody/Micah (based on A3 and H3) critters is the trousers from the Captain Black set. Unfortunately, I bought it from PoserPros, which went out of business a few years ago, and I haven't heard of it being sold anywhere else. A pity, it's a very good clothes set suitable for a fantasy adventurer or swashbuckler, and the trousers only come down to mid-calf; perfect for digitigrade legs.

    One thing I can sometimes do if I really want to use some other clothes set — I cheat, of course. Usually, the lower legs of the trousers can be shrunk along the y-axis, then I nudge with the rotate dials until the end of the trouser leg lines up with the actual figure's ankle. If the legs are too tight, Mesh Smoothing covers a multitude of sins.
