So it seems that you keep using really old products that don't have Iray Materials, and then are missing the all important step of convering those materials over to Iray. It appears that that product may be so old that it doesn't even have 3DL materials. With only 900x900 pixel transparency maps you're going to struggle getting a nice render from that even if you can convert materials succesfully.
It was the only fx I found like it, I figured I can just add Iray and no problem, ok thanks though
You likely can just add iray on, but with a prop like that it probably won't be simple. Try selecting all of the surfaces of the prop and clicking the Iray Uber Shader. IF that doesn't work right or if that's what you've already done then add a second version of the prop and copy the surfaces to the correct surfaces in the iray shader. You'll probably have to change some of the surface settings to match the look of what you want.
Ok thanks for the tip!
I have that product, let me see what I can do with it in Iray
Great thanks Simon!
Ok, I think I can see the issue - a few of the material zones use a customised shader that will only work correctly in 3Delight. Apart from that, however, Iray deals with some material properties that are 0 a little deifferently to 3Delight - look for the material zone: FreezeRay, PuterBeam_2 and OuterBeam2 and set Specular Color to 255,255,255 and that might go some way to helping.
