This must have been covered at some point but unable to find it..
After clothing a genesis figure then creating a pose ..
I find that if a hand is posed close to the clothing object, it attracts the mesh like a magnet and becomes wrapped up within it and causes distortion.
Is there a fix for this issue?
Thanks Graeme
Just figured it out :) By using mesh smoothing / collision Iterations

It is the Soothing Modifier on the clothing, it either has to be turned off or set to collide with something other than the figure. Apply a bodysuit with no hands/gloves to the figure, make the bodysuit invisible then have the other clothing collide with the bodysuit.
Does the hand have to be posed quite so close to the clothes? I've noticed sometimes only a tiny arm movement is needed to get the hand out of "sticky" range of smoothed clothes.
And BTW, it is a smoothing glitch, not a Genesis clothes glitch. You won't come across it on other clothes for earlier characters because they were made before smoothing was added as a D|S function. You can turn on smoothing manually, but it won't be on by default when you load older clothes.
As I edited above by altering collision iterations the hand can be placed onto the clothing as required.
