As I assume a lot of member do, I have a lot of content, spread over many Runtimes.
Two are specific to DAZ itself.
As I assume, hopefully, a lot of members sometimes have difficulty locating new installed content.
Having said that let me proceed with the question.
Awhile ago I purchased and installed an item called Ocean Wide, in conjunction with a few other items.
At the time I did not open it.
Now I can use it.
Know it is there, did a search and all facets turned up.
But cannot find it in a DAZ search.
The biggest reference is in a folder called "Support"
Questions;
1. What is the purpose of the Support Folder?
2. How many should there be, I have two, one inside the Runtime folder, one outside.
3. If the Support folders were combined where should they be inside or outside Runtime.
4. Biggest question, could the possible fact that there are two folders lead to problems in finding content?
Thank you
Comments
The Support folder is for Smart Content metadata files and should be inside Runtime folder.
I found this in the Readme.
You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:
“Environments:Landscapes:Ocean Wide:Props”
“Environments:Landscapes:Ocean Wide:SkyDomes wLight”
You can find new icons for this product in the following DAZ Studio Categories:
“Environments:Landscape”
“Environments:Skydome”
I don't have Ocean Wide, so I hope this helps. You can also try finding it under Products.
Thank you both, moved the Support folder nothing catastrophic happened.!!!
But still cannot find the ocean wide, it is listed in all the folders. but not in environment.
So near, yet, so far.
Thanks again.
What is the full path (starting from the drive letter) to "Calm Ocean.duf"? For example,
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Environments\Landscapes\Ocean Wide\Props\Calm Ocean.duf
