Guitar strap

Has anyone ever rigged a guitar strap, or maybe a purse strap, or anything flexible? I wanted to make a strap for a guitar model that I have. I've made a static version before but wanted something more flexible. I've been googling and from what I've found it sounds like a real pain. But since I'm a glutton for punishment I thought I'd give it a try. Are there any tutorials that could steer me in the right direction? I know how to prepare a model for rigging and how to weight map and such its just figuring out the bones that I'm wondering about.

    Probably Smay's one on rigging a snake would be a good starting point.

    Thank you so much! The Easter weekend began before I had a chance to take a look at it. I may have to download the vid and watch it on vlc's slowest setting. :-)
