Skin Rendering Transparent - What have I messed up?

Hi all
I'm trying to render a figure and she looks fine in the preview window, but when I render her the skin is partially transparent. The other items such as clothing, hair, jewellery, etc all render fully opaque, the problem only seems to be with the skin. My first thought was that I had accidentally dialled down the skin's cutout opacity, but that is at 1.0 so I an mot sure what is causing the problem.
I've attached an image below to show the issue. I dropped a checkerboard image behind the render to make the problem clearer.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have Spectral Rendering on (Render Settings)?
Spectral Rendering is off.
UPDATE: Daz decided to freeze then crash, so I restarted and now the character is rendering correctly. I'm still not sure what was causing the issue, but it seems restarting Daz has fixed it for now. Not sure if the rendering problem and the crash were related.
For me, when that happened to me on 4.10, it was caused by having incorrect color or Transmitted/Scattering Measurement Distance settings for the Thin Walled surface settings when using Chromatic mode, regardless of whether or not I was using Spectral Rendering. The difference in my situation is that I would get a lot of black specks with the transparency.
Whenever weird things like this happen to me, I just reboot my computer. It often turns out I ran out of memory because I rendered too many images or something. I've never figured it out, but rebooting and refreshing my computer usually fixes things like this.
