Photoshop Bridge changing skin colour

Anyone out there come across this issue before? I use Bridge to get the normal map into photoshop, make my changes and then export it back into DAZ (in this case I'm adding a tattoo to a small area on a new layer). When it's back there the skin colour has changed, it's usually darker and a bit greener. It renders out that way too so it's not just a screen view issue. It doesn't matter if I export the whole map set or just one part (torso for example).
I'm using the Victoria 6 HD model.
Thanks peeps.

Normal map or diffuse map? What are your colour management settings in Photoshop?
Thanks for your response.
It's the Normal map - as for colour settings, it comes in as a 16 bit RGB jpeg file, there are no options to change this as the file is exported back to Daz so I assume it's sending the same format back.
Well, normals control the "facing" of the surface as far as lighting is concerned. If you change the normals you change the way the surface is lit, which might well produce a colour change. Is there an overall change to the normal map itself after the round trip, or does it seem the same? Adding a tattoo to a normal map seems a little odd - it won't greatly change the way the surface faces.
Richard,
Sorry, you're right, it's not a 'Normal' map I'm working with, it's the colour map listed with an 'M' in the import dialogue. I've attached a sequence here to show you what happens. I even produced a final render to show that it's not just a screen issue. If you need more detail to help resolve this, let me know.
Rob
In PS go to Edit>Colour Settings and post a screen shot please.
Richard,
As requested...
What happens if you set Ask when Opening fro missing profiles to on? Are you making any colour profile or mode changes while editing -switching to LAB or CMYK for a channel effect for example?
Making the setting change has no effect. I get a dialogue asking if I'm sure I want to convert to the same color space as the original file but the end result is the same. I don't make any change to the colour profile of the document.
What format does DAZ use? I assume it's RGB?
Going through the available figures I have, it looks like it's just the Victoria 6 HD model where I have this issue. The standard Victoria 6 model works OK as does the Michael 6 and the base Genesis models. Is there something different about the maps for the HD characters?
I don't have the HD texture, but I would guess that it probably does have an embedded color profile...and that it is either automatically being converted or overwritten.
A not perfect solution...grab the originals, make copies of them then, open all the parts of the set in PS, through the bridge and save those as a separate copy. That should at least get them all matching.
