Does nightshift3d's sci-fi-light-weapons has separate materials that can be made invisible?

THis paticular pistol looks like has 2 material fields, is that what it represents?-png would be them-what does hd2 stand for? Just trying to figure it out

I still can't determine from the file list if it will do what I want, hopefully someone who has the product wil lsee the post-thanks

The clip can be hidden or removed, but the chamber and gas cylinder are all part of the same mesh, and there are only the two material zones. The filelist won't tell you about surfaces or face groups. It will list parts, texture bitmaps, poses, morphs, etc.
