Loved the show, and Howard. For a very long time I kept my "Les Nesman" coat. The exact same as the character wore in the show. My wife and I had many laughs over that. RIP.

I can't believe that show was so long ago. I was in my 20s when it started and I'm 70 now. I remember it well because I liked it so much.

And now, more music and Les Nessman!

    RIP Doctor.

What a cool character: The guy who is so charismatic and good at what he does that the suits won't cross him, and he can stand up for the little guys when management is trying to screw them. Sounds like exactly what the world needs now.

  • AKA Don Sturdy, back when he was a member of the 60s improvisational comedy group The Committee.  He was one of the bright spots of the 70s indie hit Billy Jack, in which he and the rest of The Committee also appeared.

Ironically, I just started watching WKRP in Cincinnati again on DVD.  Shout Factory recently released the series on DVD with most of the original music intact.  (Previous DVD versions had cut the original music due to rights/conflicts issues.)  It won't be quite the same now knowing Johnny Fever is no longer with us.

    Rest in peace, HH.
