Paris city architecture

Hi everybody
I work on a project related to the city of PAris. I found some very expensive material on several websites. I was wondering if somebody could tell me where to find typical 3d models of neoclassic parisian architecture and famous buildings. Thanks for any help.

Let me guess...places like Turbosquid are where you found the expensive stuff?
That's probably all you are going to find. French places/buildings and Paris in particular, are not easy 3d models to find for some reason.
...I know the feeling. Gonna be heck for the story when Leela is in Paris,
...and Vienna,
...and Berlin,
...and Prague,
...and Rome,
...and Beograd.
...and Zagreb...
If one hunts a bit, one can find a few individual landmarks. I don't have time to do a proper search, but here's what I've found for sale elsewhere.
Arc de Triomphe

Eiffel Tower (Poser)

(I'm assuming Paris, France, not Paris, Ontario, Canada... ;) )
Faveral sells some items here that may work for street level scenes. Also, you might try searching the Google Sketchup warehouse.
...the trouble with items from the Sketchup Warehouse is they usually need to be converted (using another application like Blender) to a format Daz can read properly.
you can reproduce the street layout of small sections using OSM2World (Openstreetmap 2 world) it exports an obj as blocky buildings with the footprint and height of the real ones
it could serve as a starting point for placing landmarks and has shading domains for roofs etc

OK the Eiffel tower looks meh
but gives an example of what it does, the height is to scale and has the shape of the ground footprint of the structure
Maybe not Paris, but something French ;)

The Faubourg model looks very Parisian. You can stick a low quality Eiffel tower model in the distance to sell it.
Powerage has a haussmannian building: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/haussmann-building/82497/
The shops could also work for some parts of Paris: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/shop-building-set-3/106971/
Thank you so much for all this insteresting information.
As it is mainly designed to be background stuff, I wondered if I cound'nt scratch myself some buiildings.
It looks not that difficult to design simple buildings and to fit some textures.
That's a good one!
