Asking for opinions...

I've been having a problem running beta since I downloaded and installed "Roboty Doll Poses." I used DIM to load, as usual, but apparently one of the files got hung up in a strange location. That caused me not to be able to see any of my content. I posted about this earlier. Melanie kindly pointed out the errant file, and suggested I do a help ticket, which I did. Help tickets these days are taking FOREVER. It's been a good two weeks. You wait at least a week after sending any screenshot. I realize they have a lot of work, but I can't use DAZ and I have work I need to do. I already uninstalled Roboty Doll Poses and reinstalled beta, but that didn't work. I'm thinking a logical solution would be to simply *delete* all of the content zip files for Roboty Doll Poses. And then uninstall and reinstall DAZ beta again. However - BIG however - I am not really a computer person and I don't want to make things worse. Anyone have any votes about how to proceed? Thanks in advance for any help you can give. I'm stalled and at a loss.

Reinstalling Daz isn't that bad. I've done it.
I don't think it removes your preferences (i.e. pointing Daz Studio at your Content directories), so the only real cost is time/effort, I think.
If it does remove preferences, that's probably the first thing you'll notice (that your library has shrunk).
Layout... I know there's a way to save that, but usually I don't care? That may need to be set up again on a reinstall, but I'm not positive

Deleting the contents of a specific product file?
I'd download the Zip archive to know the complete list of what needs to be deleted.
(i.e. grab the "Manual Download" of the product from your own product list, see what's in there, and delete that from your Content directory. You could also go to the Product Read Me to see the file listing.)
Yeah, I've re-downloaded DAZ a few different times - really never an issue.
That's a good bit of advice about going to the content directory to review, or the Read Me. Thank you!
