DIM installed files and Smart Content

I use DIM to download and install of my Daz files but the icons on the Smart Content directory all show the installation symbol (grey dashed circle with triangle pointing downward) and if I right click the Install option is available. However, the Install tab doesn't indicate that I have any products to install and I can find all of the files on my hard drive. I have tried a complete uninstallation and reinstallation of Daz Studios, DIM and all of my products but the issue remains. Anyone have this same problem? If you solved it, how did you do so?

Log off from the Daz site in Daz Studio and never let it log in again (you can disable login from the Edit - Preferences window under the Startup tab).
If you have installed all your content through DIM and intend to continue to do so, then there is no need to let Daz Studio connect to the Daz site at all.
The greyed icons should show up in colour in future.

If anything was installed with Connect uninstall them before installing with DIM

A simple but effective fix. Thanks! Now I have to figure out why the Smart Content Directory doesn't have any shader folders.

Aaargh! Updated to the Studio 4.2 and now I have even more installation symbols in my Smart Content Directory and my Lost and Found Directory overfloweths. The display indicates that I am not logged on within Studio.

I assume you mean 4.20(.0.2) since 4.2 was a beta version about a decade ago.

Lost and Found is related to categorisation, not installation state, so might be accounted for by updating metadata; if you have connected to Daz then the database will have been updated with the products you purchased since your last connection, which might well tag things as available for install.
